Our bow hunts are a mixture of blind and walk and stalk hunting. You can expect shots of 15 to 40 yards and all scent lock, camo, and bow hunting accessories are beneficial. Our blinds are a combination of ground, pit, and elevated blinds. They are very roomy inside.

We also use pop-up blinds, tree stands and natural brush blinds, depending on what species you hunt and the hunting area. The bow hunting season is all year round, but best in the cooler months, April to September. For plains game hunting, you should bring your normal big game setup you would use for whitetail, elk, or any other type deer. The most important aspect of your hunt will be that you are familiar with your bow.

We also have crossbows and bows for rental should you find yourself without the correct equipment.

We recommend the following:
• If you use mechanical tips make sure that your bow supplies enough kinetic energy for it to function properly.
• On normally plains game up to Impala or Blesbok we would recommend a cutting diameter of at least an inch.
• Practice at different angles and a further distance than you are comfortable.
